About
Built by the company behind RegAlign®.
RegAlign Limited builds defensible operating systems for regulated firms. Our first product, RegAlign®, connects regulatory change to obligations, controls and evidence — in one defensible audit trail.
RiskAlign™ is an independent enterprise and non-financial risk operating system. Where RegAlign starts with the regulator's words and works up to risk, RiskAlign starts with the board's view of risk and works down to the controls that mitigate it. The products can meet at shared control references without collapsing their separate authorities.
RiskAlign is at pilot stage and is not yet generally available. The objective is a risk record that remains clear, evidenced and defensible when management, the board, assurance or a regulator asks how the position was reached.
RegAlign® and RiskAlign™ are products of RegAlign Limited (registered in Jersey, company no. 165263). Pilot stage. Not yet generally available. See /legal for the full entity and trade-mark record.
Brand and product Constitution
Four values. One governing standard.
The Align Brand and Product Constitution v1.0 is the governing brand and product authority for the Align product family. It preserves human accountability, evidential honesty and defensible decision-making across every product. RiskAlign applies that authority in an enterprise-risk context.
Human by design
A named human holds the decision. The system carries the work, not the accountability.
Risk owners, control owners, reviewers and approvers remain visible in the decision trail. Compass supports judgement; it does not replace it.
Honest clarity
Say what is known, what is inferred and what is not yet established.
Risk positions distinguish evidence from assessment, and uncertainty remains visible rather than being converted into false precision.
Courageous judgement
Surface the uncomfortable position rather than the comfortable summary.
Appetite breaches, deteriorating KRIs, weak controls and unresolved assumptions are surfaced for review rather than softened for reporting.
Responsible progress
Improve deliberately, and never at the cost of accountability or evidence.
Changes to risk positions remain traceable so the board can see what changed, why it changed and who accepted the judgement.
RegAlign® language
Precise, obligation-focused and evidence-first. The Compliance Officer / Head of Compliance needs to see what applies, what has changed, what has been tested and what remains unresolved.

RiskAlign™ language
Judgement-focused, analytical and board-oriented. The CRO and named risk owners remain accountable for decisions, not just documentation.

Compass behaviour
Compass is the cross-portfolio assistive layer for the Align product family. It is advisory, not authoritative, and its role changes with the product context.
Compass always
- · grounds material outputs in available evidence
- · distinguishes suggestion from human decision
- · makes uncertainty and limitations visible
- · preserves the accountable human and decision trail
Compass never
- · approves a risk position by itself
- · closes a finding by itself
- · presents an inference as established fact
- · replaces a named human in the audit trail
Compass outputs remain suggestions until reviewed or accepted by the appropriate human authority.
Eight decision filters
Significant product, design and operating decisions are tested against the Constitution's decision filters.
- Human accountability
- Evidential basis
- Honest status
- Explainability
- Traceability
- Proportionality
- Practical value
- Defensibility
Accessibility
- · WCAG AA minimum; AAA where reasonably achievable.
- · Critical meaning must not depend on colour alone.
- · Key information should be understandable quickly without hiding material uncertainty or evidence gaps.
